I’m an assistant professor at Union College. My research focuses on the intersection between personality and close relationships: how do the things that make us “us” influence our social relationships and our well-being?

Broadly, I study the “warm and fuzzy” bits of close relationships, including growth, humor, gratitude, and life satisfaction. Check out my Research page to hear more about my current and past work.
